BeBody Health and Fitness was created by Belinda Nuttall in 2014 to provide a range of top quality, effective, safe and fun fitness classes in the Lea Valley area. Before this the company had been known locally as Essex Pilates, but it had grown over time to incorporate different types of classes and services, hence the move to create a new business in 2014.
We offer Pilates and Yoga classes, an extensive 60+ Group Exercise Program including Move it or Lose it!, and Personal Training in Ware and the surrounding villages.
About Belinda:
“I am originally from Northern Ireland and qualified as a fitness instructor in 1991 with the Keep Fit Association of Northern Ireland. I have been in the Health and Fitness Industry for over 32 years, teaching a range of exercise to music classes in the form of Aerobics, Aqua Aerobics, Step Aerobics and Pilates. I qualified as an Advanced Fitness Trainer and Personal Trainer in 2005. I was a Slimming World Consultant for 6 years, until September 2014, which gave me a huge insight into the world of losing weight (losing 3 stone myself) and the skills and desire to help others lose weight and enjoy their food in a healthy way. Although a hugely rewarding job in itself, leaving Slimming World has allowed me to develop and create BeBody Health and Fitness so I can continue to help others and make a difference in this life. We usually have classes in Ware, Hertford Heath and Furneux Pelham and currently I also stream/film classes etc from my home studio in Furneux Pelham
Nowadays I teach everything from BeBody Pilates to BeBody FIT@60+, from a high intensity Power Hour class for the more active participant to a Gentle Pilates class for people living with postural pain/injuries. I love all forms of exercise and the benefits it brings to those with joint/back/posture problems. I started to specialise in teaching fitness to older adults in 2018, becoming first a FABS Instructor and now a FABS Trainer for Move it or Lose it! in Birmingham. My own choice of exercise is yoga, cycling and skiing – when I have time!
My mother was a Keep Fit Instructor in the 70’s and I have been brought up with exercise to music all my life. My mother was hugely active her whole life, usually attending a regular Pilates class with me, and at 82 years old was still teaching and loving Community Dance! I can only hope to be as fit and active as she was her whole life, she was a huge inspiration to me and inspired my love of instructing and helping people to lead a fit and active life.
I live in Furneux Pelham in Hertfordshire with my husband Lee, daughter Caitlin and Rolo the cockapoo.” Belinda Nuttall.
