BeBody Health and Fitness was created by Belinda Nuttall in 2014 to provide a range of top quality, effective, safe and fun fitness classes in the Lea Valley area. Before this the company had been known locally as Essex Pilates, but it had grown over time to incorporate different types of classes and services, hence the move to create a new business in 2014.

We offer Pilates and Yoga classes, an extensive 60+ Group Exercise Program including Move it or Lose it!,  Social Circuits and Country Line Dancing in Ware and the surrounding villages.

About Belinda

Originally from Northern Ireland, Belinda qualified as a fitness instructor in 1991 with the Keep Fit Association of Northern Ireland and has now worked in the health and fitness industry for over 30 years. Throughout her career she has taught a wide range of exercise-to-music classes including aerobics, aqua aerobics, step aerobics, Pilates and group fitness classes for all ages and abilities.

Belinda qualified as an Advanced Fitness Trainer and Personal Trainer in 2005 and has spent her career helping people improve their health, confidence and wellbeing through movement and exercise.

In 2014, Belinda founded BeBody Health and Fitness to create welcoming, effective and enjoyable fitness classes in Ware and the surrounding Hertfordshire villages. What began as a small local fitness business has grown into a supportive community offering Pilates, yoga, wellbeing classes and a wide range of exercise programmes for older adults, including Move it or Lose it!, Social Circuits and beginner Country Line Dancing through Herts Hitchers – Line Dancing with Belinda.

Belinda has a particular passion for helping older adults stay active, strong and independent. She began specialising in fitness for older adults in 2018, first qualifying as a FABS (Flexibility, Aerobics, Balance and Strength) Instructor before progressing to become a Master Trainer for Move it or Lose it! UK. Over the past 10 years she has helped train and mentor hundreds of instructors across the UK to deliver safe and effective exercise classes for older adults.

Fitness and community exercise have always been part of Belinda’s life. Her mother was also a fitness instructor and community dance tutor who trained many people to become community dance leaders. Growing up surrounded by exercise to music inspired Belinda’s lifelong love of teaching and helping others. Even into her 80s, her mother remained active, attending Pilates classes and continuing to teach community dance — a huge inspiration behind Belinda’s belief that movement and exercise should be accessible, enjoyable and lifelong.

Belinda continues to teach a wide range of classes, from gentle Pilates and rehabilitation-focused sessions to more energetic fitness classes and beginner line dancing. Her classes focus on improving strength, posture, balance, mobility and confidence in a relaxed, supportive and non-judgemental environment where everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace.

Classes take place across Ware, Hertford Heath, Much Hadham, Furneux Pelham and surrounding villages, with some online classes also available via Zoom.
